Abstract Submission

Rules

  • Abstracts can only be submitted by logging in to the system.
  • Abstracts sent by e-mail or post independently from the system will not be accepted.
  • Papers can be submitted as Poster or Oral Presentations.
  • All abstracts should be submitted in Turkish and state the content of the presentation precisely.
  • As any error in spelling, grammar or scientific facts will be reproduced as you typed them, spelling mistakes should be avoided.
  • The author is responsible for the contents and language of the abstract.
  • The title should be in a form that explains the content of the study and only the initial letters of the title should be written in capitals. (Abbreviations are exceptional.)
  • Only the initial letters of authors should be written in capitals.
  • Abstracts should include the full names and institutions of all the authors and the person who will deliver the presentation.
  • Standard abbreviations are accepted. If there are any special abbreviations, the full form should be written in parenthesis after the first use of the abbreviation in the text.
  • The first letters of the drug names should begin with an uppercase letter when they are proper nouns. General (generic) names of drugs are preferred to be used and the first letters of generic names are not written in uppercase.
  • The typeface and font size of the abstracts have been standardized by the system.
  • References should be presented as intext citation. Footnotes are not accepted as a citation method.
  • Aim of the study and methods should be briefly stated, findings should be summarized with sufficient number of sample and results should be explained within the presented findings.
  • Abstracts should be formed as “introduction”, “materials and method”, “results” and “discussion”.
  • Abstract is limited with 300 words excluded title, name and surname and institution.
  • The abstract should include at least 3 keywords. The maximum number of keywords are limited to 6.
  • Two charts and one graphic can be added to the abstract.
  • At least one of the authors named in the abstract must register for the Congress. Only abstracts that are submitted by the authors who have registered for the Congress shall be included in the program.

An abstract that does not match with any of the rules mentioned above, will not be assessed.

Points to Consider

  • If you use the Abstract Module System for the first time, register in the system as a new user.
  • After sign up the explanations will assist you. Please read the messages and explanations carefully.
  • Authors should avoid typographical misspellings so that abstracts sent via the online submission will be printed as it sent. The writers are responsible for all misspellings and typing errors.
  • Authors should fill the parts of contact information (telephone number, mobile phone number and e-mail) precisely.
  • Please keep the confirmation e-mail after the submission process completed.
  • You can track the status of your abstract during evaluation and acceptance process.
     

Evaluation of Abstracts

Evaluations will be completed over internet by Congress Scientific Committee by keeping confidential of authors' name, surname and affiliations. Evaluation results will be sent to all abstract submitters as a conclusion letter. At least one of the authors named in the abstract must register for the Congress. Only abstracts that are submitted by the authors who have registered for the Congress shall be included in the program.
